A frisbee made from 100% recycled Ocean Bound Plastic from Plastic Bank®. Old bottles and other discarded plastic products were used for the material. Plastic Bank® is an international organization with two main goals that concern us all: reducing poverty and decreasing plastic waste in the oceans. Plastic Bank® pays people in developing countries for returning plastic waste. This plastic is collected from beaches and shallow ocean areas, from rivers, riverbanks, and landfills. This prevents this plastic waste from actually ending up in the oceans. The collected plastic is sorted, cleaned, and processed into pellets. New products are made from these pellets, which are allowed to carry the Social Plastic® label.
